RalphRalph Dzegniuk has completed his undergraduate studies in Political Science (majoring in International Relations) at York University in 1999. Having graduated among the top 5% of his class, he pursued legal studies at Osgoode Hall Law School graduating in April 2002. During the Winter term of 2002 he was also part of the Parkdale Community Legal Services (PCLS) Clinic, providing legal services to Toronto’s poor and underprivileged.

Following completion of the Bar Admission Course, Mr. Dzegniuk articled for 10 months at one of Canada’s largest and oldest immigration & refugee law firms, the Bay-street centered Green & Spiegel LLP. After Call to the Bar in July 2003 Mr. Dzegniuk was asked to remain at Green & Spiegel as an Associate where he stayed until August 2009. During his nearly 7 years at Green & Spiegel, Mr. Dzegniuk was mentored, among others, by the renowned and widely respected Mendel Green (Q.C.).

Since August 2009 Mr. Dzegniuk has been operating his own full-service immigration and refugee law practice located in downtown Toronto. Over the course of the last decade, Mr. Dzegniuk has represented and guided clients through the refugee process, both in Canada and throughout the world, starting with the Refugee Protection Division (RPD) hearings (inland) or Convention Refugee Abroad applications (for overseas refugee claimants) and ending with the Pre-Removal Risk Assessment determinations. He also represented clients at the Federal Court in various Applications for Leave and Judicial Review (challenging refusals issued by both overseas as well as inland processing centers) as well as Motions for Stay of Removal for individuals facing imminent removal from Canada. Mr. Dzegniuk’s success rate on Leave applications has been particularly impressive, significantly exceeding the average.

Moreover, he has worked extensively on all types of applications for permanent residence, such as: Federal Skilled Worker; Business Class (Entrepreneurs); Family Class Sponsorships and Humanitarian & Compassionate cases, just to name a few. Further still, Mr. Dzegniuk has processed all types of work permit applications, from Intra-Company Transfers and applications pursuant to Labour Market Opinion (LMO), to NAFTA professionals. At the same time, he has also dealt with foreign nationals with various types of inadmissibilities (whether criminal or health-related) and facilitated their entry to Canada through the TRP and Criminal Rehabilitation process.

Finally, Mr. Dzegniuk has garnered extensive experience on the business-side of immigration practice, having worked with a number of corporate clients. Mr. Dzegniuk can assist clients in English and Polish. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) and the Refugee Lawyers Association (RLA).

Mr. Dzegniuk is also working in collaboration with experienced US immigration attorneys who deal with all of the US-related immigration needs of his clients
